In observance of the Fire Prevention Month, the DSWD Haven for Children initiated activities that will provide its clients and staff with measures to prevent fire and how to save lives in cases of fire incidents.

Activities included lecture-forum with officers from Muntinlupa City Fire Department and actual demonstration on the use fire extinguishers that enabled the Haven for Children clients to experience shutting off the bonfire that was put up for the purpose of this activity.

This year’s theme is “Sunog at Sakuna Paghandaan, Kalikasan ay Pangalagaan Nang Matamasa ang Pag-unlad ng Bayan.”
