The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) culminated its 38th year fo
unding anniversary celebration through the recognition of exemplary staff who demonstrated perseverance and unselfish dedication in performing their duties on October 28, 2016 at Unibersidad de Manila (UDM).
Said recognition is under the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) which is a mechanism of the Department to give incentives to the nominated efficiently-performing staff base on the criteria for the following category: Best Center Head; Best Supervisor; Best Technical Staff (Professional); Best Technical Staff (Sub- Professional); Best Social Worker (Technical);Best Social Worker (Case Manager);Best Administrative Support Staff (Professional);Best Administrative Support Staff (Sub-Professional); Best MOA Worker (Professional); Best MOA Worker (Sub- Professional); Pusong Magiting Award; Kapwa Award; Client Service Award and; Career and Self Development.
In his welcome remarks, DSWD-NCR Regional Director Vincent Andrew T. Leyson expressed his warm congratulations to the staff who will be awarded on the day and encourages them to continuously dedicate exemplary public service for the beneficiaries and clients of the Department.
