The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) conducted Ceremonial Graduation with the theme “Pugay Tagumpay 2021: Pagkilala sa mga Nagtapos na Benepisyaryo mula sa Lungsod ng Caloocan” last February 25, 2022 which was held at Glorietta Park, Caloocan City.

The activity featured 67 household members from Caloocan City who have successfully exited from the Program. The said 4Ps members were assessed to be self-sufficient households based on the latest result of Social Welfare Development Indicators (SWDI) administration, assessment findings using the Kilos Unlad Case Management Tools, and revalidation output of the assigned case managers.

The activity was graced by the DSWD 4Ps National Program Manager Dir. Gemma B. Gabuya, Caloocan City Administrator Engr. Oliver G. Hernandez, DSWD-NCR Regional Director Vicente Gregorio B. Tomas, OIC-Regional Program Coordinator Keren T. Jemina, and Members of the Local Advisory Council of Caloocan City.



In the speech of Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan delivered by the Engr. Hernandez to the activity, he expressed his gratitude to the graduating families and promised that the Local Government Unit of Caloocan will assist them and continue to provide aftercare support services even after exiting the Program.

“Ang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program o 4Ps ay napakagandang programa dahil sa pamamagitan nito, natutulungan ang mga pamilyang may pinaka nangangailangan. Dahil dito, gusto rin natin matulungan ang mga naging 4Ps beneficiaries na magtatapos sa araw na ito sa ilalim ng programa ng Nasyonal na Pamahalaan. Naniniwala tayo na ang mga 4Ps graduate ay mahalagang mabigyan ng impormasyon at kasanayan upang kanialang magamit at maging producktibong pamilya at mamamayan.” Message of Mayor Malapitan.

The ceremony highlights the signing of the Local Advisory Council Resolution No. 1 Series of 2021 known as Prioritization of Pantawid Pamilya Households Tagged as Code 26 and Exiting Households in Caloocan City. This will ensure to provide continued support of the LGU of Caloocan to the graduated and exiting beneficiaries as stipulated in the Resolution.

Also highlighted in the activity was the Ceremonial Turn-over of the 67 case folders of the Graduating Pantawid Pamilya Household Members to the LGU of Caloocan for the inclusion in the aftercare program and services of the city. Also, each families received their Services Entitlement from the different Partner stakeholders of the Program to further improve and sustain the level of well-being of the exiting household members.

The activity was capped by the closing message of the Caloocan City Action Officer Mr. Roberto Quizon committed to assist and provide the needs of the exiting households beneficiaries through the different programs and services offered by the LGU of Caloocan city.

“Para po sa mga graduates po natin, nais ko lang pong ipabatid sa inyo na kung na sakaling may mga kakailangan po kayo base sa pang araw-araw na pamumuhay natin. Nilahad po sa atin ng bawat departamento ng bumubuo ng Local Advisory Council yung kanila pong mga commitment at ang amin pong tanggapan (Caloocan Ctiy Social Welfare Development) ay matatagpuan po natin sa ibang iba’t sulok ng Caloocan” Said Mr. Quizon.

The Ceremonial Graduation in Caloocan City was the 11th among the series of pilot ceremonial graduations throughout the 17 LGUs of the region.
