The Rehabilitation Sheltered Workshop (RSW) hosted a specialized medical mission on August 22, 2025, offering free chiropractic care to its persons with disability (PWD) clients. The one-day activity was organized by Hands for Vitality in partnership with doctors and interns from the International Medical University–Malaysia (IMU) and the Australian Chiropractic College (ACC).
The mission addressed the often-overlooked musculoskeletal and spinal health needs of PWDs. Through consultations, assessments, and adjustments, chiropractic doctors and interns provided services that help relieve pain, improve mobility, and enhance the overall quality of life for RSW clients and staff.
Beyond providing critical health services, the event also gave medical interns valuable hands-on experience while deepening their understanding of the PWD community. The initiative highlighted RSW’s commitment to holistic rehabilitation and its strong partnerships with international institutions in promoting inclusive health and wellness.
