Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries build skills for Construction Careers with Knauf Academy.

As part of Knauf Academy’s Corporate Social Responsibility, it conducted a 16-hour comprehensive training on the fundamentals of gypsum board installation with selected 4Ps beneficiaries at its training facility in Libis, Quezon City.

The training was attended by 15 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program from Districts 5 and 6 of Quezon City, the majority of whom were women eager to expand their technical skills and explore opportunities in the construction industry.

The program aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in drywall construction. Over the course of two days from June 29-30,2026, participants received both classroom instruction and hands-on training covering gypsum board systems, drywall and ceiling applications, proper material handling and storage, installation techniques, and finishing procedures.

Guided by experienced trainers, participants gained practical experience using industry-standard tools, equipment, and personal protective gear, ensuring that safety remained a key component of every activity.

The interactive learning sessions provided participants with the confidence to pursue livelihood opportunities and contribute to the growing construction sector.

Moreover, the partnership with Knauf Academy reflects a shared commitment to empowering communities through technical skills development, contributing to the improved well-being of every 4Ps beneficiary.
