Qualifications for Membership

A. FOR INDIVIDUALS 1. Must be providing professional training consultancy services on SWD. 2. Must have at least 3 years experience in conducting trainings and managing capability-building programs.   B. Our Target Members

Organizations, institutions, agencies, academe/schools and individual experts providing training courses and related capability building programs along social welfare and development. The following entities may be invited as members of the SWD L-Net: DSWD registered, licensed and accredited SWD agencies along the five (5) major SWD sectoral programs operating in the region; Representatives of academic institutions continue reading : Our Target Members

Advantages of being a SWD L-Net NCR Member

 Has access to relevant and appropriate quality  capability-building programs organized by the Network, its Members and Partners. With opportunity to network with a pool of SWD professionals and mobilize training resources. Promote individual or organization’s professional expertise along SWD capability-building programs. Increase awareness on relevant and recent training needs relative to SWD sectoral concerns. 

Our Logo

The SWD L-Net logo contains letter L with a ring. L stands for Learning Network, while the ring represents the members of the Learning Network which include GOs, NGOs, Academe, Associations and individuals. The symbol represents the spirit of continuing partnership through information and exchange of expertise.

Objectives

OBJECTIVES 1. Develop training designs/modules and learning resource materials customized to the needs of the Learning   Network members and non-members. 2. Conduct capability-building activities for SWD L-Net members and non-members. 3. Formulate SWD policies for the operationalization of capability-building programs.

Vision/Mission

VISION “Capability-building providers and direct service implementers in NCR have access to relevant and appropriate quality capability building programs towards effective and efficient service delivery.”   MISSION To enhance the competencies of capability-building providers and direct service implementers in NCR to improve the service delivery system.
