The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office National Capital Region through the National Household Targeting Section (NHTS) also known as Listahanan conducts simultaneous posting of Initial List of Poor households in eighteen (18) Barangays in Navotas City held on January 20, 2021.

The Barangays signify their support and coordination to help the Department disseminate information about the activity of the Listahanan 3 Project which can help their constituents become potential beneficiaries of the social protection programs of the Government.

“As we begin the 3rd phase of the Project known as Validation and Finalization Phase, we highly appreciate the support given to us by the Barangays and the Local Government Unit of Navotas to have accurate and successful database and project implementation. The database will be very helpful for the vulnerable sectors of society,” Regional Field Coordinator Maricris Laig-Estepa emphasized.

 

 

Listahanan is an information management system that identifies who and where the poor are in the country. The system will be made available for the National Government Agencies (NGAs) and other social protection stakeholders to serve as a database of poor families and basis in identifying potential beneficiaries of social protection programs and services. ###
