The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office National Capital Region through its National Household Targeting Section commenced the simultaneous activities of the Validation and Finalization Phase in the 21 Barangays of Malabon City on February 3, 2021.

The said activity aims to attend to the grievances of the households who appealed to be included in the initial list of poor households which were posted in their respective barangays. The households filed their complaints either personally appearing to the established Community Desks in their locality or through online filing.

There are seven (7) types grievances that can be filed through community desks:

  1. Exclusion Error 01 (EX01)means a specific household is poor and must be included in the list of poor households;
  2. Exclusion Error 02 (EX02) means a specific household is poor but is not interviewed during the data collection period;
  3. Inclusion Error 01 (INC01) means a household in the initial list of poor households is wrongly classified;
  4. Inclusion Error 02 (INC02) means a poor household claims to have been erroneously classified and wants to be removed from the list;
  5. Error 01 (ER01), the household in the initial list of poor has incorrect information in the database (i.e. name, sex, and street address);
  6. Error 03(ER03), the household in the initial list of poor has incorrect information in the database (i.e. barangay address, date of birth, marital status, and addition/deletion of roster members); and
  7. Transfer of Residence (TR01), the household in the initial list of poor had transferred to another residence. This also includes those who were previously interviewed in evacuation centers and temporary shelters but have moved to their permanent residence.

On the other hand, the following are the grievances that can be filed Online:

  1. General Inquiry means the household would like to know if they are included in the initial list of poor;
  2. Exclusion Error 01 (EX01) means the household is not included in the initial list of poor households posted in our barangay;
  3. Exclusion Error 02 (EX02) means the household was not interviewed by a DSWD-Listahanan enumerator; and
  4. Transfer of Residence (TR01) means the household was interviewed but we have transferred to a different place.

The conduct of the activity increases community participation and at the same time transparency of the DSWD NCR programs and services for and with the poor and vulnerable sectors of the society. ###
