The United Way Worlwide through the Hershey Company and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) recently turned over project on strengthening the health care management of Elsie Gaches Village (EGV).

The project aims to establish an in-house TB management program, improve capacity of health personnel to provide adequate medical services through basic health equipments/facilities and adequate supply of critical drugs.

 

Ms. Sheryl M. Romero, Consumer Relations Associate of Hershey Company Philippines, has been very grateful for giving their company an opportunity to help others. She is also looking forward to having more fruitful projects with the Elsie Gaches Village.

Elsie Gaches Village is a residential care facility that provides care and rehabilitation services to abandoned and neglected children with special needs such as those with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, visual and hearing impairment, mental retardation, autism and other related conditions.###
