The Department of Social Welfare and Development, National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) opens its Search for Exemplary Pantawid Pamilya Children.
The search aims to recognize exemplary Pantawid Pamilya children who serve as excellent examples in their households, schools, and communities, and to encourage them to be active citizens by complying with the conditions of the program.
DSWD-NCR Regional Director, Ma. Alicia S. Bonoan said that the search is open to all Pantawid Pamilya children beneficiaries in Metro Manila aged 10-14 years old and preferably recommended by community leaders, teachers, parent groups and faith-based organizations.
In addition, the children must be enrolled in school, compliant to school attendance requirement of the program from SY 2011-2012 and from the months of June-September for SY 2012-2013, with good scholastic standing or no grade below the passing mark, non-repeater, fully immunized and has been dewormed twice in 2011.
