The Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) staff and clients participated in the fire simulation drill conducted yesterday in coordination with Tanduay Fire Station in Quiapo, Manila.

Moreover, there were demonstrations on how to properly handle fire victims to prevent further injuries and save them.

Inspector Geronimo Juico, station commander, said that the Field Office should be more prepared for this situation. He stressed the importance of quick response to alarm, knowledge on exits and how to use fire extinguisher. ###
