On September 5, 2019, a total of 19 residents of Nayon ng Kabataan ages six (6) up to seventeen (17) years old  were baptized at Sacred Heart Parish Church, Mandaluyong City, officiated by Reverend Father Rey Anthony I. Yatco.

Mass baptism is an annual activity and part of Nayon ng Kabataan’s month-long founding celebration. It aims to strengthen and introduce the children to Catholic faith and provide proof of identity to those who do not have birth certificates. In this event, Social Workers and House Parents of Nayon ng Kabataan stand as godmothers and godfathers of the newly-baptized residents.

Nayon ng Kabataan provides programs and psycho-social services and interventions to children in need of special protection, ages seven (7) to eighteen (18) years old. It is located at Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City. ###
