Searching for the right one? Dreaming you and your ultimate crush having a romantic and memorable date? From a day of romance to an occasion that celebrates love in all its forms, Valentine’s Day has evolved over the years. From cards and chocolates, flowers and teddy bears, a romantic dinner for two, these days everyone comes into action with the knowledge of Valentine’s Day being around the corner.
The Rehabilitation Sheltered Workshop (RSW) conducted a simple celebration full of love on February 10, 2020, after the flag ceremony session as part of commemorating the Heart’s month which was held at RSW’s compound.
Staff and clients of RSW enjoyed the program called “Blind Date.” Blind date is a social engagement between two people who have not previously met and who are searching for a loved one. Blind date is usually arranged by a mutual acquaintance of both parties.
Mr. Alex Zaño who is known to be the center’s “heartthrob employee” acted as “Mr. Searcher”, while the clients Ms. Daryl Lauron from Garments Project, Ms. Marie Antonette Cañizares and Ms. Criselda Andes from PAL Project are among the choices of Mr. Zaño. Ms. Lauron as the winner from the said activity is entitled with a free lunch date with Mr. Searcher at the RSW Canteen on the same day.
Furthermore, Mr. Marco Golong, admin clerk, also showed his talent in singing by serenading everyone at RSW with his lovely voice.
Moreover, the day was filled with joyful memories and brought happiness to the staff and clients of RSW.
