MALABON CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) conducted a City/Municipality Social Welfare and Development (C/MSWDO) Consultation Dialogue on March 3, 2020, as first of the four meetings that are being done by the Department and Local Government Units (LGUs) every year.
C/MSWDO Consultation Dialogues are being held once every quarter of the year to serve as a venue to discuss the issues, concerns, and recommendations along the implementation of Social Welfare and Development (SWD) programs and services, sharing of good practices of the LGUs, and sharing of accomplishments of both DSWD-NCR and the 17 LGUs in Metro Manila.

(RSW), one of the Centers and Residential Care Facilities Managed by DSWD-NCR, was also able to present and promote the Center’s products to the participants. Eco bags, purses, string bags, and other goods made by the clients of RSW, who are Persons with Disabilities, were introduced to LGUs.
Quarterly C/MSWDO Consultation Dialogues are being held to continuously provide technical assistance to local government units in the implementation of their respective SWD programs and services.
