The DSWD Field Office NCR through its National Household Targeting Section had a courtesy call to Hon. Marcelino Teodoro, City Mayor of Marikina to discuss the activities of the Department that will be implemented in Marikina in line with the 3rd Round National Household Targeting Section specifically on the Validation and Finalization Phase or the 3rd Phase of the Project Cycle on March 10, 2021, held at the Marikina City Hall.

Mayor Teodoro extends his support and full cooperation to the implementation of the Listahanan 3 Project to come up with an accurate and correct database that will help the poor people not only in their city in the Region as well. To solidify the commitment of the Local Government Unit of Marikina, Mayor Teodoro signed on March 10, 2021 the Executive Order (EO) No. 17 Series of 2021 “An order creating the Local Verification Committee (LVC) of Government of Marikina in line with the implementation of the 3rd National Household Assessment/ Listahanan 3 Project”.

The 3rd Phase of Listahanan 3 provides an opportunity for the communities and the Local Government Units in NCR to review the initial list of poor households generated after the initial application of the Proxy Means Test (PMT) for transparency. It further upholds transparency and public accountability for the integrity of the database of the list of poor households and minimizes inclusion and exclusion errors in the final list of poor households.

The National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR), commonly known as Listahanan, is an information management system that identifies who and where the poor are in the country. ###
