“Maagap at Mapagkalingang Serbisyo, Kaakibat ng Matatag at Matagumpay na Pamilyang Pilipino Tungo sa Pagpapaunlad ng Pamayanan”
The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program will be conducting a Pilot Graduation Ceremony on March 8, 2021 (Monday) 8:00 am which will be held at the Executive Hall, Mandaluyong City.
The graduation ceremony will feature the 21 beneficiaries from Mandaluyong City who are exiting from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. The said households were assessed to be self-sufficient family based on the latest Social Welfare Development Indicator (SWDI) assessment findings.
The ceremony will be graced by the DSWD Secretary Rolando Joselito D. Bautista, Honorable Mandaluyong City Mayor Hon. Carmelita A. Abalos, National Program Manager Gemma B. Gabuya, DSWD-NCR Regional Director Vicente Gregorio B. Tomas, OIC-Assistant Regional Director for Operations Edna J. Sacedor and Regional Program Coordinator Joel D. Cam. The event will also be witnessed by the partner stakeholders of the program from different National Government Agencies, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the private sectors. Moreover, DSWD Regional Directors from different regions were also invited to virtually attend on the aforementioned activity.
The DSWD-NCR Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program will be expecting a series of graduation ceremonies throughout the region composing of the 17 LGUs. Moreover, the pilot graduation is one of the highlights of the Pantawid Pamilya as the Program will celebrate its 2nd year of institutionalization as a National Poverty Reduction Strategy of the government this April 2021 by virtue of the R.A. 11310 known as “An Act Institutionalizing the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)”.
