To properly ensure the successful facilitation of Special Assessment for Regular Conditional Cash Transfer (RCCT) and Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT) in Metro Manila, the Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital region (DSWD-NCR) conducted training for 102 City Links and Case Workers of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program held on April 7, 8 & 11, 2022 at Brgy.767 Conference Hall Dagonoy Amadome Court; Christian Challenge Church, 020 Mapagmahal Street Brgy. 109 Herbosa extension, Tondo, Manila and Karunungan Conference, DSWD Field Office NCR respectively.
The objective of the training is to equip the participants with knowledge of the program and impart values to the staff in order to successfully carry out valuable skills during the field validation. Further, identified Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) staff was able to join the activity by providing technical assistance in the said activity.
Hence, the participants were also trained to respond to and troubleshoot possible and unexpected circumstances that may arise during the special validation.

Furthermore, we are glad that the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program cooperated and responded positively. In NCR, the DSWD targets to assess 1,290 MCCT and 94,548 RCCT beneficiaries. This mandates the Department under article 1.1 section 5 states ‘On a nationwide basis, the DSWD shall select qualified household-beneficiaries of 4Ps using a standard targeting system. It shall conduct a regular revalidation of beneficiaries targeting every three (3) years.’
