LOOK: The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) National Capital Region concluded a successful four-day Training of Trainers on the Kilos Unlad Social Case Management Strategy and Electronic Case Management System for 40 participants last May 21-24, 2024 in Pampanga.
The activity aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and proficiency in various aspects of the program, including the registration process, intake procedures, assessment methods, intervention strategies, monitoring techniques, and transitioning methods for the 4Ps beneficiaries towards graduation and exit from the program.
It also strengthens their essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for their roles as a program implementer, and improves their capabilities in supporting and serving the vulnerable, marginalized, and poor households in NCR.
“This training provided the participants with crucial insights and tools to better support the beneficiaries of the 4Ps in the National Capital Region. I am confident that with this knowledge, the field implementers are now equipped in accurately managing and assessing their needs, leading towards the members’ improved level of well-being” said Irene G. Reyno, one of the Resource Speakers for the KU Training.
Furthermore, the training focused on strengthening the performance of case supervisors in their supervisory, coaching, and mentoring roles. Participants were encouraged to embrace the Kilos Unlad Social Case Management Strategy as a standard practice model to improve overall service delivery.
“We are grateful for the support of UNICEF Philippines in making this training possible. Their partnership has been instrumental in empowering us to better serve our communities,” said Jhorine Armuela, Training manager of the activity.
The collaboration between 4Ps National Capital Region and UNICEF Philippines underscores a shared commitment to enhancing social welfare programs and improving the lives of vulnerable populations.
