TODAY:  In a significant move to streamline government services and enhance operational efficiency, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program-National Capital Region (4Ps-NCR) has initiated the registration and updating of ARTA ID for its employees in Metro Manila.

This initiative is in alignment with Republic Act No. 11032, also known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018,” which amends Republic Act No. 9485, or the “Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.”

The ARTA ID registration process is designed to ensure that employees of 4Ps-NCR adhere to the standards set forth by the law, which aims to reduce bureaucratic red tape and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government services, equipping its employees with ARTA IDs, 4Ps-NCR demonstrates its commitment to transparency, accountability, and improved service delivery to the public.

The registration event saw enthusiastic participation from the staff, who acknowledged the importance of this initiative in enhancing their roles as public servants. The process involved a series of steps including verification of employee credentials, capturing of biometric data, and issuance of the ARTA IDs.

This move by 4Ps-NCR underscores the government’s commitment to reforming public service delivery, making it more responsive to the needs of the program beneficiaries, and reinforcing the principles of good governance.

The Ease of Doing Business Act mandates various government offices to adopt simplified procedures and digital solutions to expedite transactions and provide a higher level of service to the country’s citizens.

The ARTA IDs will serve as a means of identification and accountability for employees, ensuring that they uphold the principles of efficient and effective public service.
