LOOK: More than 200 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from the National Capital Region participated in the recently concluded National Career Expo (NCEx) job fair held on May 30-31, 2024, in Quezon City.
The job fair aimed to mentor and provide job opportunities to youth learners from grades 10 to 12, helping them pursue their career aspirations in the context of professional development.
Organized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the event brought together various stakeholders to support young job seekers in finding appropriate employment.
Simultaneously, similar job fairs were conducted in other regions, including Region VI-Western Visayas and Region XI-Davao, ensuring that youth across different parts of the country had access to the same opportunities.
The National Career Expo showcased the collaborative efforts of government agencies to address youth unemployment and equip young individuals with the skills and opportunities necessary for their future careers.
