The Department of Social Welfare and Development National Capital Region continues to set the standard in Human Resource Management and receives prestigious bronze award for HR excellence from Civil Service Commission on June 26, 2024 at the Century Park Hotel in Malate, Manila during the CSC 2024 Regional Human Resource Management Practitioners Congress.

PRIME-HRM aims to elevate public sector human resource management systems, competencies, and practices to a level of excellence, ensuring efficient and effective public service delivery. This prestigious program recognizes agencies that successfully transform their human resource management systems and demonstrate a commitment to good governance.

DSWD-NCR achieved the PRIME-HRM Level 2-Maturity Indicators, reflecting excellence in four core human resource management areas: Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Performance Management; Learning and Development; and Rewards and Recognition. This recognition underscores DSWD-NCR’s commitment to providing quality services and complying with statutory and regulatory requirements in human resource management.

In accepting this award, DSWD-NCR now carries the responsibility of maintaining its PRIME-HRM Level 2 status and striving to meet the maturity indicators for the next higher level.

The event was attended by notable figures such as ARD for Administration and Concurrent OIC of Human Resource Management and Development Division (HRMDD), Mr. Benchie B. Gonzales; ARD for Operations, Mr. Bienvenido Jr V. Barbosa; CSC-NCR Director, Erick Romualdo; and key personnel from HRMDD of DSWD-NCR.
