INA Healing Center successfully conducted a five-day workshop in Bicol focusing on the improvement of Manual of Operations and Self-Care program, with the goal of enhancing organizational processes and boosting the well-being of its staff.
The workshop brought together INA Healing Center’s staff, volunteers, and a Social Welfare Specialist for Women, all with one mission: to review and improve the center’s guidelines and procedures. These are the heartbeats of the center’s work in offering compassionate care and guidance to grieving women and families. It was a reminder of just how important it is to have a clear, structured Manual of Operations—it keeps things running smoothly, ensuring that each person who walks through their doors receives the best possible support.
But it wasn’t just about policies and procedures. The workshop also focused on Self-Care, understanding the emotional challenges that social workers and psychometricians face when supporting grieving clients. These caregivers often carry the weight of others’ pain, which can take a toll. That’s why the Self-Care sessions were so crucial. Participants practiced mindfulness, meditation, and other wellness activities that offered them a moment of peace, helping them recharge and better cope with the emotional demands of their roles.
This event established camaraderie among staff while also providing them with technical information and personal wellness techniques to help them thrive in their specialties at INA Healing Center.
INA Healing Center reiterated its commitment in delivering excellent service and emotional support, ensuring that its mission continues. Future endeavors will include expanded capacity building programs, increased public outreach, and strengthened advocacy campaigns.
