In partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the National Vocational Rehabilitation Center (NVRC) held its Fire Safety Drill on March 13, 2025, as part of Fire Prevention Month.
The BFP personnel, led by Senior Fire Officer 1 Noly Ojeno and Fire Officer 2 Narc Arvynne Advincula, RN, EMT-B, started the program by simulated fire drills and evacuations to ensure that over 70 clients and 50 staff members knew what to do in case of a real fire. After the drill, safety training was conducted and demonstrated on firefighting techniques, including how to use fire extinguishers and fire hoses.
This year’s theme is “Sa Pag-Iwas ng Sunog Hindi Ka Nag-Iisa”, which aims to raise awareness about fire safety and encourage emergency preparedness.
