The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program National Capital Region (4Ps NCR) organized its first Civil Society Organization (CSO) Meeting on April 26 which gather diverse group of CSOs and private sector entities actively engaged and interested in supporting the Program in Metro Manila.
The activity served as a platform for stakeholders to exchange insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to enhance the program’s impact on communities. Discussions focused on strategies to improve program efficiency, enhance service delivery, and promote sustainable development among beneficiaries.
At the heart of the meeting was a commitment to ensure the “Pangarap, Pagtataya, Pagbabago, Pagtataguyod” (Aspiration, Participation, Transformation, Sustainability) program goal. This overarching objective aims to steer beneficiaries towards self-sufficiency, underpinning the need for robust collaboration and partnership between CSOs and 4Ps NCR.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the recognition of the pivotal role CSOs play in bridging gaps and addressing the multifaceted needs of program beneficiaries. The 4Ps-NCR encouraged CSOs to actively participate in shaping policies and interventions that align with the aspirations of the communities they serve.
Present in the activity is the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) NCR Representative Leonides Frago Jr; International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) Representative Rosauro Luntao; and 4Ps-NCR Representative Marvin Bautista who served as a panel in the discussion between the context of harmonization of public and private engagements and practices.
The program aims to harness the strengths of CSOs and private sector entities to create a more responsive and impactful support system for Filipino families. This collaborative effort is seen as critical in guiding beneficiaries toward self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
The CSO Meeting marked a significant milestone in the journey of 4Ps NCR, signaling a renewed commitment to partnerships and collaborative action. As the program continues to evolve, it is poised to make an even greater impact on the lives of Filipino families in the National Capital Region.
