In a collaborative effort to further enhance the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Metro Manila, the 4Ps NCR together with the three clusters of Landbank composing 51 servicing branches in the region, held a consultation dialogue on July 23 at the Landbank Head Office in Manila City.
The activity was graced by the 4Ps NCR Cash Grant Unit Head, Cecilia Romana and Landbank Senior Vice Presidents representing the north, south, and central clusters in Metro Manila: Delma Bandiola, Althon Ferolino, and Marilou Villafranca, respectively.
The consultation aimed to provide updates on the progress of the 4Ps implementation in the region and facilitate a productive exchange of ideas between Landbank and 4Ps NCR.
The discussions were focused on ensuring the smooth execution of the Memorandum of Agreement and the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) between the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Landbank of the Philippines, specifically pertaining to the distribution of cash cards to the 4Ps beneficiaries in NCR.
Meanwhile, Ms. Romano expressed “This dialogue presents a valuable opportunity for us to strengthen our partnership with Landbank and align our strategies for the benefit of the 4Ps beneficiaries in Metro Manila.”
This consultation marks a continuation of the planning session that took place on May 20-21 with the Landbank Senior Vice Presidents in Metro Manila. During that session, both agencies reaffirmed their commitment to promoting social protection and enhancing the service delivery for financial operations to the 4Ps beneficiaries in the region.
