February 25, 2024 | In diligent work through the 2nd Round of Pantawid Special Assessment, the Area Supervisors and Enumerators of the National Household Targeting Section (NHTS) have successfully visited the 56,427 households in their respective areas for inclusion in the Listahanan 3 database.

Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) Regional Director Michael Joseph J. Lorico said that “We wholeheartedly appreciate the unwavering support of the Local Government Units (LGUs) in Metro Manila, barangay chairpersons and officials for the logistics, assistance in locating households and in the certification of households towards the updating of the database of poor households in the region. Their participation greatly contributed in the success of the assessment. Moreover, we are thankful for the cooperation of the parent leaders of each cluster and barangay as well”.

 

 

Ms. Mary Noemi C. Corales, Project Development Officer IV of NHTS, shared that all the Household Assessment Forms completed for the 2nd Round of Pantawid Special Assessment were 100% encoded and verified as of February 25, 2024.

 

Listahanan aims to develop and maintain a database of poor households which are available for sharing with National Government Agencies (NGAs), Local Government Units (LGUs), Civil Society Organization (CSOs), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Academe, and other stakeholders that enable them to objectively identify the poor households or individuals who shall be prioritized in the provision of social protection programs and services.
