The INA Healing Center (IHC) held a general meeting for all dedicated volunteers on March 28, 2025, with participants from various local government units (LGUs) in the National Capital Region and CALABARZON region. Volunteers represented five LGUs: Valenzuela, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Rizal, and Navotas, along with three partner barangays: Barangay Fortune (Marikina), Barangay Gulod, and Barangay Payatas (Quezon City).
During the “Kumustahan,” IHC Head and Social Welfare Officer III Maribeth Juliet Salinas checked in on the current status of the volunteers. Additionally, volunteers elected a new Community Support Volunteer Coordinator. Salinas expressed deep appreciation for the volunteers, recognizing them as key partners in providing support to grieving individuals and fostering a caring community.
“Malaki ang tulong ng mga volunteers dahil kaisa natin sila sa pagbisita at pagmonitor sa mga naulilang ina sa bawat lugar nila. Sila rin ay isa sa mga backbone ng ating operasyon sa pagbibigay serbisyo sa mga nangangailangan,” Salinas emphasized.
With their continued support, IHC remains committed to empowering its volunteers and ensuring they have the resources necessary to succeed in their roles.
