Branchforth Foundation Inc. donated two (2) new buildings for the Nayon ng Kabataan in Mandaluyong City, a residential care facility managed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR). Turned over on June 03, 2014, the buildings are for the staff and residents in the center.
The construction of the buildings began on January 20, 2014. The psycho-social building is a two-storey structure that has seven (7) rooms which will be used by the resident psychologists for their psycho-social and therapeutic activities. Meanwhile, the new school building is an extension of the old building to allow sufficient space conducive to learning. It added five (5) additional rooms and a comfort room for the faculty and the students, both male and female.
Founded by Mr. Hiroki Azuhata in 2006 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Branchforth Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization that aims to provide the basic needs of the poorest children to capacitate them for a better life and to protect them for exploitation and injustice. Some of the services they provide are supplemental feeding, medical and dental missions and advocacies against drugs, sexual abuse and protection of children’s rights to survival. ###
