The DSWD-NCR Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program and Local Government Unit of San Juan City conduct a first ever Local Advisory Council (LAC) Meeting with the issuance of Mayor Francisco Javier M. Zamora’s Executive Order No. FMZ – 011 seriea of 2019: An Order Creating a City Advisory Committee for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.

The 1st LAC Meeting highlight the signing of the Specific Implementation Agreements between DSWD-NCR and LGU of San Juan City to intensify the partnership between the said two parties in reference to the different significant provisions from the Republic Act 11310 or otherwise known as “An Act Institutionalizing the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)”; and orientation of the LAC Functionality to realize the convergence efforts.

The main objective of the meeting is to address and discuss the convergence of the programs and services of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program and San Juan City in line with the poverty alleviation strategy and in holistic approach for social welfare and protection for the Pantawid Pamilya household members.

The LAC meeting also aims to discuss the strategies for the upcoming graduation ceremony of exiting households in the Program of Pantawid Pamilya in the City of San Juan.

The LAC was attended by the DSWD-NCR headed by Regional Director Vicente Gregorio B. Tomas, OIC-ARDO Edna J. Sacedor, RPC Joel D. Cam and the Pantawid Pamilya Regional and Operations Program Management Offices.
