On February 17, 2021, Haven for Women participated in the Muntinlupa City Technical Institute (MCTI) Recognition Day held at the Haven for Women Social Hall.
The recognition day aims to acknowledge and give appreciation to the students who actively participated in the said 15 days Livelihood Training. The activity was spearheaded by the Livelihood Supervisor Ms. Clemencia Castro, and the Livelihood Trainor Ms. Vilma Gonzales.
Ms. Vilma Gonzales welcomes the guests and the graduates with her heart-warming welcome message.
“Magandang araw sa ating lahat. Maraming salamat sa inyong pagdalo at maraming salamat sa inyong pagpupursige. Nawa’y ang training na ito ay makatulong sa inyo sa inyong buhay at sa mga susunod ninyong mga pagdadaana. Ang Livelihood Training na ito ay ginawa upang kayo ay magkaroon ng karagdagang kaalaman sa ibat ibang short courses na inyong maaring magamit paglabas ng center. Muli maraming salamat po at congratulations.”
The 15-days Livelihood training includes Housekeeping and Pastry Making which will capacitate the clients to develop skills that they can use once reintegrated with the community. This learning opportunity will help them to seek employment and livelihood which will make them productive citizen of the community. To formally close the program, Officer-In-Charge Ms. Catherine Taleño shared to the graduates and guests her closing remarks, “Gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa inyong lahat sa inyong pagpupursigi upang matagumpay na matapos ang labin-limang araw na Livelihood Training. Alam kong ito ay malaking tulong sa inyong kinabukasan.”
