The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program will be conducting a Graduation Ceremony on October 13, 2021 (Wednesday) 1:00 pm which will be held at the Kapitan Moy Marikina City.

The graduation ceremony will feature the 18 beneficiaries from Marikina City who are exiting from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. The said households were assessed to be self-sufficient family based on the latest Social Welfare Development Indicator (SWDI) assessment findings.

The ceremony will be graced by the DSWD Assistant Secretary for Specialized Programs Rhea B. Peñaflor, Honorable Marikina City Mayor Hon. Marcelino “Marcy” R. Teodoro, DSWD-NCR Regional Director Vicente Gregorio B. Tomas, OIC-ARDO Edna J. Sacedor and OIC-Regional Program Coordinator Keren T. Jemina. The event will also be witnessed by the partner stakeholders of the program from different National Government Agencies, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the private sectors. Moreover, it is expect that the activity will be live streamed on the DSWD-NCR Official Facebook page on the said date.

The Ceremonial Graduation in Marikina City will be the 7th series of ceremonial graduations throughout the region composing of the 17 LGUs. Moreover, the ceremonial graduation is one of the highlights of the Pantawid Pamilya as the Program celebrated its 2nd year of institutionalization last April 2021 as a National Poverty Reduction Strategy of the government also known as R.A. 11310 known as “An Act Institutionalizing the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)”. ##
