The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region through the National Household Targeting Section (NHTS) and Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) assessed 1,290 households of Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT) beneficiaries in Metro Manila which aims to conjoin in the nationwide data cleansing and maintain a database of poor households beneficial to the partner stakeholders.
Based on Executive Order 867, the department through the National Household Targeting Office (NHTO) is mandated to conduct household assessments every four (4) years to maintain its data integrity in maximizing the potential and support identified by the National and Local Government Units.
Meanwhile, Regional Director Ferdinand Lazaro D. Budeng extends his appreciation to the program for full cooperation and providing the field staff during the conduct of Special Validation.
“While the Special Validation is ongoing we ensure that the data gathered is complete and accurate.” Said Regional Director Budeng.
Listahanan is an information management system that aims to identify who and where poor households are located in the country. It also serves as a socio-economic database of the Department for identifying potential beneficiaries of the programs and services provided by different National Government Agencies (NGAs). ###
