Jason Carilla, client of National Vocational and Rehabilitation Center (NVRC) which is being managed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR), succeeded as the only blind Licensed Massage Therapist who topped in the recently concluded Department of Health (DOH’s) June 2015 Oral and Practical Licensure Examination for Massage Therapist in the Philippines
I thanked God because I only asked for a kilo of rice but He gave me one sack of rice)”, Jason said in his speech during the oath taking ceremony held at PhilTrade Center on October 28, 2015.
Jason, together with the other 22 blind new Licensed Massage Therapist trained by NVRC, is one of the 1,410 passers out of the 1,828 examinees in the official list of DOH of June 2015 licensure examination who were recognized during the oath taking ceremony.
I also thank DOH for giving opportunity to people like me to become professional masseurs)”.
DSWD-NVRC was also awarded with a certificate of recognition for its dedication to the cause of improvement and continuous quality education in massage therapy in its journey towards excellence by producing the top performers in the Oral/Practical Licensure Examination for Massage Therapists conducted in June 2015. ### Contributor :Flor Cecille G.
