The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) releases a total of 4,579,500 worth of capital assistance to some 594 beneficiaries of Sustainable Livelihood Program under Self-Employment Assistance Kaunlaran (SEA-K) project held on January 21, 2016 in its Field Office.

Sustainable Livelihood Program is a community-based capacity building program that seeks to improve the socio-economic status of its beneficiaries through the different modalities such as skills training, seed capital fund, pre-employment assistance fund and cash for building livelihood assets.

Beneficiaries from Caloocan, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, Valenzuela and Quezon City were grateful on the continuing support of the Department to their lives.
