MANGROVE PLANTING AND CLEAN UP. Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program participated in the planting of mangrove seedlings at Brgy. 649 Baseco, Port Area, Manila in Tondo which was led by Senator Cynthia Villar. The activity aims to protect the environment, particularly in saving the Manila Bay. Moreover, there is also regular coastal cleanup and tree-planting activities being conducted in the area. This is also in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR), Macondray Plastics and Kabalikat sa Kaunlaran sa Baseco. ###
