A total of 25 identified children from Nayon ng Kabataan, a DSWD-managed center which provides protective, therapeutic and rehabilitative programs to children who are disadvantaged and victims of different forms of abuse, received baptism in celebration to its 48th anniversary carrying the theme, “Malasakit sa Kabataan, Maiahon tungo sa Kaunlaran.”
Said children first attended a catechism on September 21, 2016 conducted by Ms. Ma. Joey Losano, leader of the Sacred Heart Catechists held in Psychosocial Conference Room.
On the following day September 22, 2016, the children were brought to Sacred Heart Parish Church together with their god parents for the sacrament of Baptism officiated by Rev. Father Anthony I. Yatco. ###
