The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through the National Household Targeting Office or Listahanan, validates potentials household beneficiaries for Unconditional Cash Transfer in the National Capital Region (NCR) to verify and update Households’ information.

As of May 12, 2018 the DSWD-NCR has validated 46,569 households or 75% from the sixteen (16) cities and one (1) municipality in NCR. Regional Director Vincent Andrew T. Leyson extends his appreciation to the local officials for the provision of security personnel during the conduct of Field Validation.

“While the validation is on-going we ensure that the data gathered is complete and accurate,” Mr. Leyson emphasized.

Listahanan is an information management system which aims to identify who and where the poor are in the country. It also serves as a socio economic database in identify potential beneficiaries for the programs and services provided by different National Government Agencies (NGAs).###
