The Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region through Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (PPPP), intensifies its partnership with Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) through a series of orientations for LBP branch managers regarding the implementation of the Program. The first batch of orientation was conducted for the South Cluster B (Pasig, Mandaluyong, San Juan, and Marikina City) on May 17, 2019 at the Pasig Capital Branch, while the second batch was conducted on May 23, 2019 for South Cluster A (Pasay, Makati, Pateros and Taguig) at Buendia Branch, Gil Puyat, Makati City.

The orientation aims to provide necessary information to LBP personnel especially the Branch Managers, to be able to come up with action plans for smooth operationalization and implementation of pay-outs which will ensure quality delivery of service. LBP is the official bank partner of the Department in disbursing the cash grants of various DSWD services’ clientele such as Conditional Cash Transfer (Pantawid Pamilya) and Unconditional Cash Transfer Program (UCT). They cater to more than 600,000 recipients of PPPP and UCT.

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program is a Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program of the government designed for poverty reduction, social protection, and development strategy to improve the health, nutrition, and education of children ages 0-18. ###
